Isra Miraj Holiday, Angkringan Soultans Destination with Nabi Sulaiman Palace Nuance Attracts Tourists
(Yogyakarta, Indonesia) - The city of Yogyakarta is a paradise for foodies, with its endless options for culinary delights. One of the latest viral destinations is Angkringan Soultans, which offers a unique dining experience with a nuance of the Palace of Nabi Sulaiman. The owner of Angkringan Soultans, Haji Nurohman, aims to elevate the traditional Yogyakarta dish of nasi kucing or nasi angkringan to a premium and classy level.
"Usually, you can find nasi kucing or nasi angkringan in many places around Yogyakarta, but we want to offer something premium and classy here," said Rohman. Angkringan Soultans is a restaurant with a magnificent Middle Eastern-inspired architecture, complete with glittering glass and a flowing river under the floor. "The idea was inspired by the beauty of the Palace of Nabi Sulaiman. We want our visitors to feel like they are in a fairy tale come true," he explained.
The menu at Angkringan Soultans is just as impressive, with a variety of options that are sure to tantalize the taste buds. "We have nasi kucing ikan hiu, nasi kucing baramundi, nasi kucong sop buntut, nasi kerapi, and other local dishes, as well as fusion options," said Rohman. During the Isra Miraj holiday, the number of visitors to Angkringan Soultans has increased by two-fold, making it one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Yogyakarta.
Julia, a tourist from out of town, said she was impressed by the beauty of Angkringan Soultans and enjoyed her time there. "It's really nice and cozy here. The atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious," she said. Sasha, a tourist from Jakarta, agreed, saying that Angkringan Soultans exceeded her expectations. "It's even more beautiful than I expected. I saw it on social media, and it's really luxurious," she said.
The prices at Angkringan Soultans range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of rupiah, with the most expensive option being the nasi kucing ikan hiu, which costs around 6 million rupiah for a serving of 5-6 people. "If you want to try our signature dish, be prepared to spend a bit more. But it's worth it, and we recommend making a reservation in advance," said Rohman. (Raya Sanjiwani)
